About our Chapter

National Charity League, Inc. (NCL, Inc.) is a national non-profit organization comprised of mother and daughter members in Chapters across the United States. NCL, Inc. was established in Los Angeles, California in 1925 and incorporated in 1958. NCL, Inc.’s mission is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. Since its inception in 1997, the Southlake Chapter of NCL, Inc. has continued its commitment to the core values of NCL, Inc. and its vision to develop strong women leaders serving and impacting communities today and for generations to come.

Mothers and daughters participate in a six-year core program, referred to as The NCL, Inc. Experience, which outlines a program of community service, leadership development and cultural experiences, by year. Through this program, participants become confident, well rounded and socially aware contributors to society.

As a chapter, we celebrate the richness of our history through traditions that honor the past while serving the future. Our annual Mother-Daughter Tea and Senior Recognition Ceremony are two examples of our traditions which help define who we are as members of the Southlake Chapter of NCL, Inc. and how we sustain our Chapter. We embrace values which make us strong as an organization and as a community of leaders. Lessons in graciousness, for example, are central to our Chapter’s core values. We also build connections through experiences that shape and support our lives. We do this through our relationships within our Chapter and through connections with our Philanthropy Partners (local charities we serve and support).

Since 1998, the Southlake Chapter of NCL, Inc. has organized and produced an Annual Fashion Show which serves as a fundraiser for selected Philanthropy Partners. The Southlake Chapter is proud to be one of a handful of NCL, Inc. Chapters in the nation which is designated as a fundraising chapter.
